Reviews and Ratings
Arriving at the Broadmoor West complex was a pleasant surprise, with fresh and newer surroundings. The room was well-serviced to our liking, and despite the added fees, the overall rate seemed fair for the quality provided.
I felt like I was in my own secluded haven with a great view of the lake in the center of the property and the morning sunrise. The rooms, though a little dated, were very nice and comfortable. The Broadmoor West complex felt fresher and newer compared to the main building.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious with a full coffee bar, and the view from the balconies was breathtaking. The only downside was the small room size and steep stairs to climb, which was a bit challenging. The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, making our stay truly enjoyable. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views, close proximity to golf and tennis, and a serene ambiance for our family gatherings. The dining options were delicious, but the coffee shop breakfast was ordinary. The facilities were excellent, enhancing our overall experience.
The hotel overlooks the mountains and main lake, offering spacious rooms with excellent bedding and a large tub. The service is exceptional, friendly, and helpful without being overwhelming. The beautiful location is like a movie set, although crowded at times. The dining is high quality but somewhat typical. The facilities are top-notch, making the stay enjoyable.
My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were modern, with an incredible view of the lake, and securing a lakeside table at Vista Lago months in advance was worth it. While the service overwhelmed me with their friendliness and politeness, the location was serene, offering loads of fabulous activities. Though the dining experience was decent, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Overall, a great value for money in a community that's hard to escape.
My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms had a historic elegant feel, beautifully appointed in the main building with a stunning view of the mountains and main lake on the property. The service was excellent, with friendly staff from all over the world always checking on my reservation. The location was magnificent, perfect for taking walks with my dog in the Colorado mountains, and the dining experience offered extraordinary dishes. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall experience.
The hotel offers rooms that are like spacious one-bedroom apartments with stunning views of the mountains and lake. The service is welcoming and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere. The location provides easy access to beautiful surroundings and nearby attractions. The dining experience offers a decent buffet selection. Overall, a great place to stay with top-notch amenities and beautiful surroundings.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing! The beautiful suite overlooking the lake provided stunning views and dining at Vista Lago with a lakeside table set months in advance was truly special. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed with comfy queen beds, plenty of blankets, and well-appointed bathrooms. The cool mountain breezes added to the charm. However, the price could be on the higher side but definitely worth it for the value you receive.
The hotel offers stunning views of the lake and mountains from the rooms, along with excellent bedding and a large tub. However, the rooms are small with steep stairs, making it a bit challenging. The service is top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who go the extra mile to accommodate guests; however, the dining experience falls short in terms of quality and variety. The location is perfect for family gatherings and outdoor activities, but be prepared for higher expenses. The facilities are well-appointed with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers a wonderful mix of old-school charm with modern amenities. The rooms are very nice, clean, and extremely comfortable, providing a well-appointed stay. The service is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The location is stunning, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of outdoor activities. The dining experience is phenomenal, offering great options. Overall, a great value for money choice with fantastic facilities.
My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious and wonderfully decorated, providing a more luxurious experience compared to standard hotel rooms. However, there was a slight disappointment as they ran out of newspapers and didn't make an effort to restock. The view of the lake from the West Tower was breathtaking.
The hotel was a great experience overall with spacious and comfortable rooms, exceptional service, and a beautiful and historic location. The dining was phenomenal, and the facilities were top-notch. However, the high pricing and crowded location were slight drawbacks.
After stopping at The Bar across the bridge for an afternoon snack, I found my stay at the hotel to be magnificent. The rooms were around $625 + tax, and for the quality of what you get, I think that is entirely fair.
The hotel rooms were truly spectacular, much nicer than our basement bedroom back home. The bedding was excellent, and the large tub was a luxurious touch. We enjoyed an afternoon snack at The Bar across the bridge, which added to our experience. Despite not being able to upgrade our cabana, the service was attentive, offering car delivery to the cottages upon request without us having to ask. The location amidst the Rockies was breathtaking, with plenty of activities and wildlife to explore. The dining experience, especially at Ristorante Del Lago, was phenomenal. The facilities were top-notch, offering modern amenities and beautiful views.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and exquisitely comfortable, full of rustic charm, but our preference for the main building wasn't met. The service was polite with a positive attitude, offering exceptional global staff. Though there were some stunning mountain views and helpful staff, the location didn't seem to handle high capacity well during Labor Day. The dining options were impressive with the best experience in the Penrose room but a limited choice of dining locations. Overall, the facilities were top-notch, but with a few hiccups here and there.
